An Author’s Note
Stories have always been my way of making sense of the world.
I am a fantasy and science‑fiction author from Québec, Canada, and I write about worlds that are broken, hopeful, strange, and resilient—much like our own. My novels explore what happens when ordinary people are pushed into extraordinary circumstances, when societies are tested, and when inner strength becomes the last line of defense against chaos.
On this website, you’ll find more than just books.
You’ll find fragments of my creative life: thoughts about storytelling, writing processes, imagination, and what it means to keep creating in the midst of a busy, imperfect, and deeply human life. Writing is not something I do in isolation from the world—it is something I do because of it.
Why Fantasy and Science Fiction?
Because speculative fiction allows us to ask difficult questions from a safe distance.
Through magic, distant planets, altered societies, and impossible technologies, we explore very real emotions: fear, hope, grief, courage, love, and resilience. Fantasy and science fiction are mirrors disguised as escapism. They help us examine power, identity, trauma, neurodivergence, and humanity itself—without ever losing the sense of wonder that first made us fall in love with stories.
About This Blog
This blog is a space where I:
- reflect on the writing life, with its doubts, joys, and creative chaos
- share thoughts about worldbuilding, characters, and storytelling craft
- talk honestly about being an independent author
- explore creativity through the lens of lived experience
Some posts are practical. Others are introspective. All of them are part of the same journey: creating meaningful stories while remaining deeply myself.
For Readers, Writers, and Dreamers
Whether you are:
- a reader looking for new worlds to explore
- a writer navigating your own creative path
- or simply someone who loves stories and imagination
you are welcome here.
My hope is that something on this site—a novel, a blog post, a reflection—will resonate with you, make you think, or simply remind you that imagination is not a luxury. It is a necessity.
Thank you for being here.
And welcome to my worlds.
